Islamabad High Court (IHC) Decision REGARDING CSS QUOTA System .

Описание: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday appointed eminent lawyers Babar Sattar, Khawaja Haris and Ahmer Bilal Soofi as amici curiae for scrutiny of the quota system for induction in the Central Superior Services (CSS).
IHC issues notice to govt on petition filed by 34 candidates who could not get jobs even after clearing CSS exam and interview
The FPSC announced 466 vacancies. However, because of the quota system letters were issued to 281 candidates for posting in BS-17, said the petition.
Quota system was not made a permanent feature of the constitution rather it was initially protected for a period of 20 years and thereafter the period was extended through the constitution (Sixteenth Amendment) Act 1999 for a further period of 20 years
