As Dr. Danvers and his colleagues continue with Jock’s surgery, Bobby and J.R. hope that their daddy will make it. The surgery is a success as Jock wakes up. Moments later, Jock is discharged from the hospital. Bobby tells Jock that he’s working on the ranch instead of going into construction which means J.R. has Ewing-Oil all to himself.
