English - Mount Lofty Station in the Adelaide Hills South Australia is a well known location for train enthusiasts from all over Australia. It's a beautuful location to watch the trains pass by whether they are climbing the grade from Adelaide or on the descent towards Adelaide. Featured here is Pacific National 3MP5 from Melbourne to Perth on the descent into Adelaide with locomotives NR 89 and NR 64 and the banker locomotive DL 45 which allowed the train to negotiate the steep grades through the hills. Filmed 11th November 2015.
