Описание: Funded by the National Institute of Health, the Centre for Medical Ethics and Law at Stellenbosch University, South Africa produced this educational video “Biobanking and Beyond”. The purpose of this video is to inform patients and the general population about the process of taking part in research, and the role of biobanks in medical research. This video takes you on a patient’s journey: from meeting the medical doctor, discussing concerns about taking part in research and donating samples, to finding out about the biobank and its role and activities.
