At 2.6 miles wide the El Reno, OK tornado is the largest ever recorded, and this video is a timeline of the events leading up to this record-breaking tornado, and just how close we got to being cut off by it while trying to bail south on the I-81 as it was approaching. Many storm chasers were caught off guard that day, and tragically, several were killed. This was one of the most stressful storm chases of my, as of this typing, 26 years of storm chasing, and up until now I've only posted a few clips from this day on my channel.
