Professor Arindam Ghosh is a distinguished physicist specializing in experimental condensed matter physics at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He earned his Ph.D. from IISc in 1999, focusing on semiconductor physics. Post-Ph.D., he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, UK, until 2005. Professor Ghosh has been recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in 2012 and the Infosys Prize in Physical Sciences in 2020. He has also been elected as a Fellow of both the Indian Academy of Sciences and the Indian National Science Academy. His academic career at IISc has evolved from an Assistant Professor in 2005 to his current position as a full professor.
