This video about the Epson DX4 solvent print head.
The head is taken apart and magnified with a microscope to see it's composition and reason for deflection. Also shown is the process to remove/replace a head and brief over a few cleaning and adjustment procedures before and after.
Printers: Roland SP 300-v (2 heads) and Roland Soljet Pro II SC-540 (6heads).
Be certain the power cord is disconnected before servicing. And press power button 'on' three times to drain residuals.
