In addition to strong store level economics, Michelle and Bob Fish will ensure that BIGGBY sources its coffee using our expanding farm direct coffee partnerships because climate change threatens coffee production across the entire planet. By cutting out the commodity market from out supply chain, we are able to make sure our coffee producing partners are compensated fairly and that we have a secure coffee supply in the future. By 2028 we will source all of our coffee using these relations which are based on top quality coffee, sustainable farming practices, local community investment by our coffee producer partners, and a full circle relationship with each farmer and their organizations. This means BIGGBY will foster personal relationships between the coffee farmers and the BIGGBY home office team as well as the franchisees. BIGGBY personally visits the farm direct farms and they visit our franchise locations. There will be “a name, a face, and a place” and a full-circle relationship behind every cup of coffee we serve!
