Walking Across Leeds West to East | Part 1: New Pudsey to Leeds City Station

Описание: I’m walking across the entire city of Leeds! This is Part 1 of my mission to cross the city from West to East (Pudsey to Garforth) and South to North (Middleton to Adel).

We begin at the very edge of the city at New Pudsey Railway Station. As we head toward the city centre, we trek through Stanningley, Swinnow, and Bramley. This stretch of West Leeds is packed with character—I'll show you the architectural history of the area, from the towering old mills and grand chapels to classic local pubs and even some hidden old cinemas.

Walking is hungry work, so I stop off at a local favorite, Silvers in Bramley, to grab some lunch before continuing the journey!

Highlights of this walk:

Starting Point: The Leeds/Bradford boundary at New Pudsey.

Architecture: Spotting the industrial heritage of Stanningley and Bramley.

Pit Stop: Lunch at Silvers Sandwich Shop.

The Route: Navigating the transition from the outskirts toward the heart of the city.

This is the first of two videos covering the walk to Leeds City Railway Station. Once that's done, I'll be heading East to Garforth to complete the cross-city trek!
