The Wrong Trousers is a 29-minute British stop-motion claymation short, directed by Nick Park and co-written with Bob Baker and Brian Sibley, released on December 26, 1993. It is the second Wallace & Gromit installment following A Grand Day Out. Gromit, suspicious and resourceful, discovers the penguin’s deception and reprograms the trousers. In a thrilling model‑train chase across the living room, he and Wallace pursue Feathers, ultimately trapping him in a milk bottle. The duo then use the reward money to pay off their debts. In a cheeky final gag, the trousers reactivate and walk off into the sunset, leaving Wallace and Gromit enjoying cheese. Awarded the 1994 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, it also earned a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes and is considered a masterpiece of stop-motion animation.
