On Friday, April 27, 2012, Houston Mayor Annise Parker, along with HPD Assistant Chief John Treviño, announced the launch of the Identity Theft Prevention Initiative, a series of monthly events at HPD stations that will offer identity theft prevention education, along with free document shredding services to individual Houston residents.
Monthly events are scheduled as follows:
