The UK's unusual weather has ruined green grass fields, spoiled wild berries months early and even resulted in health warnings to stay out the sun, but finally there's some good news - 2018 could be a vintage year for British wine.
High temperatures create quality fruit so vineyards are hopeful that the heatwave currently dehydrating Britain will create "staggering wines" and yields matching France’s Champagne region.
