Last night at Critter Café, the foxes kept testing the waters.
And the raccoons kept reminding them whose shift it was.
Sometimes they ate side by side like everything was fine. 🦊🦝
Other times, a fox would drift just a little too close…
Pause.
Reassess.
And slowly back up like, “You know what? I’m good.”
A few times the raccoons showed up in pairs, making sure backup was present before any negotiations began.
No lunging.
No chaos.
Just subtle, confident flexing.
The foxes tested.
The raccoons decided.
