Update Azure Autoscale Notifications

Hello, this is John Lewis, and welcome to your Azure Daily Minute for Monday, May 6th, 2024.

Azure Virtual Network Manager user-defined route (UDR) management now in public preview. As published, on May 2nd, user-defined route management describes desired routing behavior in Azure Virtual Network Manager by defining and applying routing rules to multiple subnets without manually configuring route tables for each subnet. User-defined route management creates routing configurations consisting of routing rules, and then applies these routing rules to collections of subnets quickly, easily, and at scale.

Azure classic roles, along with Azure classic resources, are due to be retired by August 31st, 2024. As published, on May 3rd, customers are required to update Azure autoscale notifications and use additional email addresses for notifications. All customers should remove any existing administrator and or co-administrator emails from Autoscale notification. After the retirement date, Azure autoscale will only send notifications to the email addresses listed in the additional email addresses fields for scaling operations. Customers without administrator and or co-administrator emails for scaling action notifications, are not required to take any further action.
