01.25.2022 | 07:00 AM | EL CAJON - The U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force were serving an arrest warrant for a wanted felon at a residence in El Cajon.
The suspect and a U.S. Deputy Marshal fought during the attempted arrest and the deputy was injured.
The suspect fled.
A large manhunt is being conducted with personnel from the CHP, SDSO, ECPD, and the Task Force.
The Deputy Marshal was transported to a local hospital for their unknown injuries.
The suspect is a Middle-eastern Male in his 30’s.
He was wearing a red jacket and black pants. He’s 5’8″ and 150#
