Race 1 of the final NASA Texas race weekend of 2025 running in Spec E46. My first time at Eagles Canyon but as usual the other SE46 folks help me get up to speed quickly. Qualified P4 out of 6 but fell back at the start. Had to get by an out-of-class ST5 to catch up to the tail of the group but the rookie was getting impatient and took a big dive into the last turn on lap 8 and I was split off from the group. It was a great learning experience for this track, but I may have played it too safe. Also, I spent half the race trying to reconnect my cool shirt hose.

Past the ST5, catching back up to the pack: 8:20
Back in the train: 14:45
Dodging a rookie: 17:35
