The Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Council (UPMC) has accelerated its accreditation process, revoking/suspending the accreditation of five madrasas in different districts over the past week. In a similar move, the council has also suspended the accreditation of Madrasa Lutfia Arabia, Turkman Gate, Aligarh. This action was taken pursuant to an or der issued by the Registrar/Inspector of Madrasa Education Council on January 19th.
