We went out to find a street clean-up in Tamraght during Ramadan… somewhere “between a mosque and a butcher.”
My daughter really wanted to go — so we set off just before sunset to try and find it.
Along the way, we walked through a town that’s changing fast. Tamraght has this mix of old and new — traditional street life, surf culture, new cafés — all building toward that quiet moment before iftar.
We’re not even sure we found the right place… but that wasn’t really the point.
This is what Ramadan feels like in a small Moroccan town.
