In this fun Tagalog lesson, we were discussing the 5 WH questions and translating them from English to Tagalog. I was also being taught by my boys how to pronounce WHAT properly. 🤣🤣🤣


I teach them Tagalog, they teach me English. 🤣🤣🤣

I realized that I need to teach my boys how to learn Tagalog because everytime we go home to Manila, Philippines, they have a hard time communicating with their cousins and other relatives because they don't know how to speak Tagalog so they just talk to each other and are missing out on a lot of fun.

I thought if I can just teach them basic Tagalog, such as simple Tagalog words and Tagalog phrases, maybe they can learn the Tagalog language and hopefully will be able to understand and speak Tagalog soon.

How big of a relief will that be if they can talk to me in Tagalog!

Learning the Tagalog language, or any language for that matter, can be daunting, especially if you're not really interested, so I always try to make learning the Filipino language fun for my boys so they won't get bored and hopefully will learn something in every lesson that we have.

Doing these Tagalog tutorials is my way to get them out of their rooms, give them a break from playing computer games and have some family bonding even just for a while.
