Описание: For the 6th and final performance of SIGHT & SOUND Episode 7 - The Nikhil Korula Power Trio with Larry McCray and Pat O'Brien, I thought it would be super cool to have Larry, Pat and myself sit down and jam on T-Bone Walker's classic, "Mean Old World." When I first heard Eric Clapton and Duane Allman cover "Mean Old World" by T-Bone Walker, time stood still and it completely stopped me in my tracks. Whatever this sound was, I wanted in. It would be decades until I thought I could do this incredible song justice and how cool to play it with 2 amazing blues musicians like Larry McCray and my hometown hero, Pat O'Brien. I look up to both of these musicians so much and to just showcase all 3 of us jamming on this song like it could be a jam on someone's front porch, well, that just makes it perfection. There was no more of a perfect way to end Episode 7 than this song with these 2 cats and with an incredible performance just like this. Enjoy our version of T-Bone Walker's blues classic and maybe just maybe the this "mean old world" will become a little bit sweeter for all of us.
