Chayatsuji Kimono | Furisode | Tateya musubi
Tateya is one of the easier furisode obi knots or musubi that you can do yourself.
Usually one required for another person to do furisode obi knots as they are quite intricate to say the least.
This one however you can do easily by yourself.
Mind you that when you have someone else do this for you the result might be more even when finished ;)
The obi that you will be using with this obi knot is the 'fukuro' obi, a medium stiff one is the best one to work with and yields the sturdiest result.
A fully stiff obi might wear out your arms really easily while tying the obi knot ;)
