BAND
"Kalenda Maya" is an Aragonese group of medieval music specialized, since 2008, in the investigation and interpretation of western medieval music of troubadours, troubadours, minnesingers, minstrels and goliards.
The group is made up of 4 musicians:
1. María Pilar Cubero Peralta: solo voice.
2. Pablo Baleta Guillén: historical bowed string (fidula, vihuela de arco and Moorish rebec), percussion, arrangements and choirs.
3. Javier Villar Morales: historical and oriental percussion (ta'arija or darbouka, tablillas/tejoletas, atabal, cymbals, tambourines, riqq and rattles).
4. Alejandro Baleta Guillén: artistic direction, historical plucked string (vihuela de péñola, Latin guitar or citola, lute…) arrangements and choirs.
For this recording, the group has had the collaboration of two exceptional musicians:
5. Carolina V. Pimpinela: Historical flutes.
6. Saskia Roures Navarro: Organetto.

PRODUCTION
