BNSF - Sounder -Amtrak at Mukilteo, WA-USA Train action

Описание: July 17th,2005 - Mukilteo,WA-USA- STAY OFF THE TRACKS.!!..this video is a stark reality to why one should never walk, cross or otherwise be on the railroad tracks. The 1st Train, left to right in the view, is technically southbound - a BNSF long-freight, meets a northbound freight, with a rare CSX lead engine. This area of Washington State is usually 99.9% BNSF Country - the northbound freight sneaks around the corner under the Mukilteo bridge..if one had been looking/listening to the southbound freight, they may not have noticed or heard the other train. The 1st Train slows for the hold point south of the Mukilteo bridge as the NB freight heads for Stevens Pass. The next train in the video is the Amtrak Cascades, followed a bit later by the Sounder commuter train(The Sounder driver blew our ears off with extra LOUD horn blasts..it was soooo loud it made my body vibrate--never experienced that before..thank G for condensor mics) it was headed from Seattle to Everett,WA, USA.We had been filming here throughout the week and the engineer was ready for us this day...These train crossings were filmed on the same day. The last item is a BNSF Inspection vehicle, commonly referred to as a Hi-Rail. The driver didn't wave and seemed to be perturbed we were filming him. (Actual date filmed was 7-17-2005(ignore the typo)UPDATE: This area where I filmed this is NO longer available-the Boeing 787 spur track in now being set up here - trackage from the new ship dock for 787 fuselage deliveries to Boeing-Everett from overseas. The spur track is right across the street from where I filmed this video. The roadway visible from where I filmed this, is now also gone, as this is the Mukilteo,WA Sounder train station now.(author)
