Old World Russian Romance in St Petersburg

Описание: Winter, best exemplified, in the freezing landscape of Russia, but most elegantly, St Petersburg. Here a return to the period of old world Imperialism of the Tsars. Great palaces, painted in pale yellows and peach beautifully resonate against the austere landscape. And against this backdrop a moving love story.

The background music is Rachmaninov's 1st Movement of Piano Concerto, Saint-Saëns' Danse Macabre and Tchaikovsky's Pas de Deux from The Nutcracker. The moving images are from the films Anna Karenina (1997), Russian Ark (2002) and Onegin (1999).
