Bamako Diary de Yvon NGASSAM

Описание: From November to December 2022 I will travel to Bamako to complete a photography residency started in 2019 with Malian photographer Kani SISSOKO.
My stay during my residency has been marked by the effects of pollution and climate change that the city of Bamako is undergoing. My reaction to the catastrophe that this city is experiencing is the various creations that I made during my stay and which were exhibited during the African Biennial of Photography of Bamako 2022.
These works are supported by the Malian photographers' collective, YAMAROU PHOTO, and the Medina Gallery.

De novembre en décembre 2022 je me rends à Bamako pour terminer une résidence en photographie commencée en 2019 avec la photographe malienne Kani SISSOKO.
Mon séjour durant ma résidence a été marquée par les effets de la pollution et le changement climatique que subit la ville de Bamako. Ma réaction à la catastrophe que vit cette ville est les différentes créations que j'ai faites durant mon séjour et qui ont été exposées lors de la biennale africaine de la photographie de Bamako 2022.
Ces travaux bénéficient du soutien du collectif de photographes maliens, YAMAROU PHOTO, et de la Galerie Médina.
