Summary :-
After 7 years of marriage, OP’s husband wanted a divorce because there was no spark left between them. One day, cops show up at OP’s house and ask about her husband. Her husband came out and told OP to go back inside. OP went inside but she could still hear their conversation. The cops ask Sam if he knows about a girl who is on a run. Sam denied it but OP knew he was lying so it made her overthink. After that incident, OP’s husband acted strangely so she decided to hire a PI to monitor her husband and find out what he was doing.

After some time, OP finds out that her husband has been cheating on her with a criminal woman who has been on the run because she was involved in gun violence and has a bad history. On top of that, the girl was part of a gang from Chicago. Because of that, the police were on the hunt for this girl for years, but OP’s husband was helping the woman to hide. She begged him to hide her until

she found a way and money to get out of this country. So, OP’s husband hides the woman in his friend’s empty apartment.

The PI was able to know about all of this and reported this to OP. Before OP confronted her husband, she filed for divorce which the husband forgot about. Then, the husband begs OP to keep it a secret, which OP agrees to as long as their house will be given to her in the divorce settlement. Little did the husband know that OP had a secret mission, she actually already told the police about the criminal woman and was already arrested even before they signed the papers.

When the criminal was caught, she lied to the police and told them that the husband was also a criminal because she was very angry. The police were just about to interrogate the husband but he was too cowardly to face them so he ran away. Then, a few weeks later, the husband contacted OP to ask for her help, but she refused and reminded him that he was the one who cheated on her and chose a girl who was clearly a trouble. So it is he who’d have to bear the consequences.
