Plane Spotting at RAF Lossiemouth, incl P-8 Poseidon & Typhoons

While in the north of Scotland I decided to try out a new place for me being as I've been filming at RAF bases lately. So this time I visited the UK's northern QRA defence base, Lossiemouth. Like Coningsby, Lossie is also home to the UK's quick reaction defense aircraft, the Eurofighter Typhoons. This is infact my first time filming Typhoons, so I hope you enjoy watching them as they are really entertaining to see

In addition to the fighters, there was also the presence of 2 Boeing P-8 Poseidon aircraft, one of which performed a handful of touch and go's. And the bonus was a German Navy P-3 Orion, an aircraft type I've personally never seen before.

All in all a brilliant first time at a QRA base, and some thrilling action by the pilots of the Typhoons, the best being the vertical take off performance at 30:55
