In this recipe we make Amarula, using the Marula Brandy we made using the Marula fruit.
We started with a standard Cream Liqueur recipe but that turned out to bitter and the Cocoa powder over powered the Marula flavor.
The first recipe was:
150ml Evaporated Milk
150ml Condensed Milk
100ml Strong cold-brewed coffee
1 Teaspoon of Cocoa Powder
7.5ml Vanilla Extract
300ml Marula Mampoer @ 50%
The Recipe that got the closest to the taste of Amarula is this one:
350ml Condensed Milk'
100ml Evaporated Milk
100ml Strong Cold Brewed Coffee
5ml Vanilla Extract
450ml Marula Mampoer @ 50%
This Homemade Amarula recipe came really close to the Amarula Flavor
