Elderly driver hits parked car twice and drives away dannydashcam

An elderly woman driver is attempting to do a U-turn and is failing miserably.
Even with assistance from the nice gentleman with the wheelbarrow she clearly is not fully in control of the car when reversing and forgets she is in reverse when instructed to drive forwards and hits a parked ford fiesta twice.
The dashcam owner realises she is about to leave the scene without leaving her details so he jumps out of his vehicle to make it clear he had evidence of her actions but this does not deter her from leaving the scene .
The dashcam driver approached the fiesta to leave a note of the incident but the owner returned to the car and had the situation fully explained to them and all the personal details needed .
Well done the dashcam driver for doing the right thing for a stranger, if only more people were like him.

I've long been a big believer in driver re assessment regularly to make sure inept / incapable drivers are kept off the roads, yet younger drivers are penalised massively financially to start driving yet they are likely the highest standard trained drivers on our roads ever, remember some elderly drivers may never have sat a driving test.... ever.

This also raises the need for dashcmaeras fitted to vehicles to have parking mode just incase of incidents like this one or the bad driver would maybe get away with it scot free.
