Artist Biography: Miss Vincent are a punk rock four-piece from Guildford. Formed in 2012 the band embarked on their first tour in July of that year and shortly after released debut single 'No One Knew'. Miss Vincent have played up and down the country, supporting bands such as Sonic Boom Six, Hildamay, Mike TV and We Are Lost Boys. They have just finished recording their debut EP (due out later in the year) and will be hitting the road again in early August!


About The Video: The video and the song are about Joyce Vincent, a woman who died in her flat in 2003 and was not found for almost three years.

Song Lyrics: The TV is on and it's been like that for a year. And you'll hear no noises 'cause there are no souls out here. As she gathers dust she reminds us that we too can die alone. Nobody found her until they came round to repossess her home.

Continued to stare as her soul disappeared, for two years she sat alone and lifeless. And no one had missed her while she just lay there, solitary and wasting away.

So many laws but never one to say that you can't be forgotten from the day that you die, and even thought you pray it doesn't happen to you, it might do.

The world carries on, to them nothing is amiss. Miss Vincent's whole existence has been boiled down to this. Some unopened letters and aspirations are doomed forever. And her TV licence expired twice once her pulse stopped to persist.

A forty year old left not out in the cold, but given a haven safe to hold her. They broke down the door to discover that no more payment's due. She's wasted away.
