Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Dean Macpherson says the North West province will benefit from 38 projects from Infrastructure South Africa, which will stimulate local economic activity. Premier Lazarus Mokgosi signed two landmark memoranda of understanding with Macpherson today, at the Pilanesberg International Airport, outside Rustenburg. The first agreement will see ISA partnering with the provincial Department of Community Safety and Transport Management to support the redevelopment of the Pilanesberg Airport, which was destroyed by fire in 2023. The airport was the only commercially licensed airport in the province.
