The Expanse is a definitive hard science fiction series and political thriller based on the novels by James S.A. Corey. The story explores a colonized solar system divided into three primary factions: Earth, governed by the United Nations; the militaristic Martian Congressional Republic; and the Outer Planets Alliance, a loose confederation representing the disenfranchised workers of the Asteroid Belt.
