Gorgan Street is the old name of one of the streets in the east of Tehran, which was changed to Shahid Sartip Namjoo Street after the 1978 revolution and the Iran-Iraq war.
This street leads from the south to Shemiran Gate neighborhood and from the north to a square that was formerly called Soraya Square and its current name is Namjoo Square. Gorgan Street, on its way from north to south, intersects with numerous streets, the most important of which is the Islamic Revolution Street.
Gorgan Street is one of the streets in District 7 of Tehran Municipality.
