What are the roles & responsibilities of job performer?
JP (Job Performer) Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensure all ADNOC procedures are followed.
• Submit permit & certificate in one day advance.
• On completion & suspension of work, the work site must be clean, clear & safe.
• Attach the JSA to the permit before submission.
• Ensures that he is aware of ADNOC HSE rules and regulations, work procedures, job locations, equipment to be worked on, tools and Equipment to be used and defines the anticipated start and finish time I date and no of days.
• Signs PTW and accepting the conditions of the PTW and attached Certificates.
• Is directly responsible for the safety and quality of work and must ensure that the conditions specified on the PTW/Certificates are always adhered to.
• Ensures that no other activity/ tool is performed/ used except as specifically described on the PTW/Certificate.
• Implements the Work Site Precautions to be taken by the Job Performer as identified by the Area Authority on the PTW/ Certificate.
• Visibly displays the signed Original of the permit at the worksite during the duration of the work.
• Remains at the worksite during the duration of the work and obtains Area Authority/Issuing Authority signature if Job Performer replacement is required.
• Conducts a Toolbox Talk (TBT) immediately before commencing the job.
• Adheres to and maintains the worksite precautions identified by the Area Authority on the PTW/ Certificate throughout the duration of the job.
• Immediately suspends work in the event of the Emergency Siren or General Alarm being activated.
• Returns the permit to the Permit Office on suspension of work, at end of the working day, or on completion of the work. On completion or suspension of the job
• He must ensure that the worksite is left in a clean - clear and safe condition.
• Signs for cancellation of the permit stating whether the job is complete or incomplete.
• Signs in PTW as required when requesting an extension of the PTW/Certificate.

a. Heat stress
Call for emergency help immediately.
• Move the victim to a cool, shaded area.
• Don't leave the person alone Lay the victim on his or her back move any nearby objects away from the person if symptoms include seizures or fits.
• If Symptoms include nausea or upset stomach, lay the victim on his or her side.
• Loosen and remove any heavy clothing.
• Have the person drink cool Water (about a cup every 15 minutes) if alert enough to drink something, unless sick to the stomach.
• Cool the person's body by fanning and spraying with a cool mist of water or wiping the victim with a wet cloth or covering him or her with a wet sheet.
• Place ice packs under the armpits and groin area.

o Switch off all equipment & machinery safely.
o Check the wind direction & move upwind direction towards your Assembly point.
o Head count to be conducted as per Toolbox meeting record.
o Ensure no personals are left behind before boarding the stand-by vehicle.
o Vehicles shall immediately be parked on the side of the road, the motor switched off and the key left in the vehicle.
