Makoto Naegi (00:00 - 00:23): Wake Me Up - So this is more of a it felt right. But the closest thing to an answer I can give is that he is kind of taking his time during the killing game to figure everything out and is walking around blind in the darkness.

Kyouko Kirigiri (0:24 - 0:46): The Ballad Of Mona Lisa - Kyouko is kind of like Mona Lisa until the end, she’s a mystery and nobody can really figure her out.

Byakuya Togami (0:47 - 1:07): Welcome To The Black Parade - After every murder/execution, Byakuya was typically the first to move on. He carried on with the killing game and ended up surviving; even after the game, even though he will never admit it, I think he carries on his fallen classmates memories.

Aoi Asahina (1:08 - 1:30): Mermaid - Ok so she’s a swimmer. I also think she’s really pretty (she’s my favorite girl) and fits the sings description of a mermaid pretty well.

Yasuhiro Hagakure (1:31 - 1:51): Best Day Of My Life - Yasuhiro has a pretty laid back personality that is joyful. Quite frankly when he’s not in the middle of a killing game, this song describes him pretty well.

Toko Fukawa/Genocider Syo (1:52 - 2:16): One More Night - Even though this song is about a relationship between a man and a woman, it can also describe the relationship between Toko and Genocider Syo.

Sayaka Maizono (2:17 - 2:40): Teen Idle - So yea she’s already an Idol, but like she died to early to go further with it, I also think she might have had some things that happened during her career to cause her to try and frame Makoto like she did.

Leon Kuwata (2:41 - 3:04): 50 Ways To Say Goodbye - So he was the first person executed and this was probably one of the things on Monokuma’s list of things to kill kids with. Also it has a cool little rocky beat to it, which also plays into why I chose the sing because he wants to be a rockstar but I wanted to chose something different than the song Rockstar.

Chihiro Fujisaki (3:05 - 3:28): Animal - So some of the lyrics talk about dying, and I think Chihiro knew that he was gonna he one of the people that would die. But some other lyrics talk about leaving behind something of sorts and helping others past death, which made me think of alter ego.

Mondo Owada (3:29 - 3:50): Novocaine - The song has the same punk edge that Mondo has. I can’t really think of any other reason sorry guys.

Ishimaru Kiyotaka (3:51 - 4:08): Nights Of Gold - The song is a mashup of some nights by fun and house of gold by twenty one pilots. The song has a certain tone to it that I feel fits Ishimaru pretty well. And he pretty much tried to build a house of gold for his classmates while he was alive.

Yamada Hifumi (4:09 - 4:34): Cake By The Ocean - Ok so first off I wanted to do a serious song for him cause all he really gets are joke songs. Second off I don’t really have a strong reason for why i chose this song, I just kind of did and that is that.

Celestia Ludenberg (4:35 - 5:02): The Winner Takes It All - So she’s the super high school level gambler right? So when she was the winner she took it all, even the title, but one loss, the loss to Monokuma took everything from her. In Celestia’s case, the winner really did take it all.

Sakura Ogami (5:03 - 5:30): I’m Sorry - Imma make this short and sweet, Sakura is sorry for being the mole and betraying her friends.

Muruko Ikusaba (5:31 - 5:56): Team - So Muruko feels like she’s on a team with Junko, and when she’s tired throwing her hands in the air, she’s dead.

Junko Enoshima (5:57 - 6:26): American Beauty, American Psycho - Junko is a beauty and a psycho. So the song is about 2 different people but Junko is both.
