Fresh orange juice replaces milk in this soft and moist Orange Coffee Cake with Cinnamon Streusel Topping, giving it a bright and sunny flavor.
This is a flavorful baked treat to break out of the winter woes. The cake is moist, not overly sweet, and has a bright, citrusy flavor from the orange juice.
ORANGE COFFEE CAKE
Beat the eggs to soft peak stage
In a separate bowl mix together refined flour, sugar, baking soda, orange juice and olive oil
Add beaten eggs and fold
Remove half batter in a separate bowl, add coffee syrup and fold
Grease a bundt pan with butter Add coffee batter at the bottom and orange batter on top
Bake at 175 °C for 35-40 mins
In a pan add orange juice, orange peels and sugar, cook for 5 minutes till thick
Take the cake out of the oven and pour hot orange reduction on both the sides of the cake, let it soak
Pour Chocolate Coffee Ganache on the cake
Garnish it with orange peels, orange segments, peppermint sprigs & dust with icing sugar.
