Physics and chemistry
Physics and chemistry are closely related, with fundamental laws governing matter's behavior affecting both fields.
Atomic and subatomic particle physics provide the theory and rules about atoms in chemistry.
Both fields study the interaction of large numbers of particles, which are complex beyond the capabilities of computers and the human mind.
The physics of atoms and subatomic particles is crucial for understanding how individual atoms form molecules through covalent bonds.
The physics of heat energy bridges the macroscopic properties of a substance with the individual properties of its constituent molecules and atoms.
Spectroscopy is a fundamental tool in physics and chemistry, providing insights into atomic structure, molecular structure, X-ray diffractions, radioactivity, periodic properties, valency, chemical bonds, and solid crystal structure.
Physics and biology
Understanding physics is crucial for comprehending life's mechanics, including human motion, metabolism, blood flow dynamics, and eye functions.
Newtonian mechanics, a combination of physics and biology, explains how animals and their body parts move.
It states that a body is in stable equilibrium under gravity if its center of mass is directly over its base of support.
A person falls when their center of gravity is displaced beyond their feet.
The wider the base and closer the center of gravity, the more stable it is. Newtonian mechanics also explains how limbs are used for various tasks.
1. Physics of fluid flow and biology
Fluid flow physics, including viscosity, continuity equation, and turbulent flow, is crucial for understanding blood circulation and pressure in multicellular organisms, including soft-bodied animals like sea anemones and earthworms.
2. Physics of sound wave and biology
Sound is a mechanical wave produced by vibrating bodies, such as vocal cords, during exhalation.
The vibrations disturb surrounding air molecules, causing them to follow the vibrating body's motion.
These disturbances propagate away from the source, reaching the eardrum, producing nerve impulses interpreted by the brain.
3. Physics of electricity and biology
Electrical phenomena play a crucial role in life processes, such as the nervous system of animals and muscle movement control.
Neurons form a complex network, with the brain at its center, which stores and analyzes information. This information is used to control various body parts through electrical pulses.

Newton’s laws of motion and astronomy
Newton's law of gravitation describes the motion of the moon and planets around the sun, while Kepler's Laws explain planetary motion.
Understanding centripetal and centrifugal forces helps understand orbital mechanics, including planets, moons, and satellites.
2. Physics of electromagnetic wave and astronomy

They use false colors to represent data from wavelengths we can't see.

Atomic astrophysics focuses on calculating atomic physics to interpret astronomical observations.
It involves studying the emission and absorption of radiation, which is related to the structure and energies of individual atoms.
This helps measure the compositions, temperatures, and motions of stars by studying their spectra.
In interstellar matter, electrons are heated by nearby stars, causing electrons to fall to lower energy orbits and emitting light with specific wavelengths.
