The Krewe du Exploration ventures deep into the woods of Braithwaite, Louisiana, where the ruins of an old sugar mill still stand. Though time and nature have reclaimed much of the site, its towering chimney remains a visible landmark along the nearby highway. Hidden among the overgrowth, the remnants of this once-thriving mill offer a glimpse into the area’s industrial past.
