Back in early December, @SouthernRail1982 and I took a trip to Tennessee. Along the way we would stop in Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Harriman and see several different Norfolk Southern and CSX trains, as well as some shortlines, like the Tennessee Valley Railroad and Knoxville & Holston River Railroad. In Knoxville, we would get word of the KXHR running their Washington & Lincolnton steam engine 203 for the holiday season. So, as most railfans would, we took the opportunity and chased them.
