The War Beasts is a new feature of the Last Fortress that adds buffs to your lineup. Basically giving your heroes attributes bonuses.

First, you need to update your game. Then you will have a war beast event and an exclamation point on your construction icon.
You have to build the War Beast Factory and now you can start working on Activating your War Beast.
To activate your war beast you must collect 100 metallic dragon blueprints.
Then click the activate button and you can install the war beast on your best lineup and you can add modules (which are like APC parts) to your beast which is how it gives you buffs.

How do you get metallic dragon blueprints?
Mutated zombies, premium crates and the war beast events, or purchase them

What are modules?
These are like a mix between car parts and policy cards because you have to have 2 of the exact same module to upgrade it and then you must install it on your car.

How do you get modules?
Mopping up zombies and mutated zombies

How to upgrade the modules?
Click the modules button on your beast factory or click on any module in the modification screen and click fuse
This brings you to the module lab where you can use Fusion to increase their quality

3 types of Fusion
Module Fusion: Take 2 of the exact same module and level, place them in the machine and it will produce 1 module that is 1 level higher than the parts you put in.
Overclocking fusion is a gamble but it has better rewards. This is exactly like the first except you have a chance of getting a bigger module in return, 1-6 levels higher, but you also have a chance of destroying your module so choose wisely
Split module: this just takes a module any level above 1 and reduces it to smaller parts. it's like the revert feature in ascending heroes. If you put in a level 3 module it will kick out 2 level 2 modules

You can then take those additional parts and use overclocking to try and score a better module.

As you level up your metallic dragon war beast with blueprints you will unlock additional slots for more modules to be placed in your war beast giving you a better bonus

Once you have all that done the only thing left is to install the War Beast to your lineup, do this with the install button in the factory page.

4. upgrade it with blueprints to unlock module slots
5. upgrade your modules with fusion
6. get more blueprints and modules with mopping zombies or mutated zombies
7. install the War Beast on your lineup and watch it chase your APC around the map
