Reacting to Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s remark on Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, senior Congress leader Adhir Chowdhury said that if there are any serious allegations, the government should order a probe instead of making political statements.
“They are scared of Gaurav Gogoi because he has a clean image. If he is Pakistani, then what is the government doing? Send the CBI after him,” Chowdhury said, alleging that the BJP is trying to tarnish Gogoi’s image for political reasons.
