Final Fantasy IX: Terra - English Horn Cover

I hope you guys enjoy this cover of Terra! I notated basically a transcription of this piece, as the original features a very lengthy English Horn solo. I was going for more of a "remastered" version of this song using a live instrument with similar reverb effects. Like a couple videos I've done in the past, this cover features all live instruments.

I also recorded live with audio and video together, which is a challenge when you have a double reed instrument that's in danger of frequently going out of tune in one large take! There are some notes in the EH solo that were a little out of tune, but this is as accurate as I could in one single take.

I really love FF9, especially its soundtrack, probably one of my favorites in the series. This scene is really cool in game as well, it really shows how far this franchise came visually coming from the earlier installments.

Not gonna lie, this cover was extremely last minute. I did everything in a day and a half. College has been extremely stressful and trying to get a video out within the two weeks was really difficult. I know now I really need to start managing my time better because doing a complete cover from start to finish in a day and a half is just too hard.
