I've never played the original game, I have no nostalgia for the series, and before today I honestly knew very little about what Gothic was all about.
So instead of approaching Gothic Remake as a longtime fan, I'm jumping in completely blind to see what this RPG has to offer.
In this playthrough we'll be experiencing the world, combat, progression systems, quests, characters, and exploration for the very first time while trying to answer one simple question:
Is Gothic Remake actually worth playing?
Whether you're a longtime Gothic fan or someone who's never touched the series before, come hang out as we take our first steps into one of the most legendary RPG franchises of all time.
