Описание: The Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor is set to transform regional connectivity, spanning an 82-kilometer stretch from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Modipuram in Meerut. The high-speed rail, described as a semi-bullet train, is designed to endure speeds of up to 180 km/hr but will remain functional at approximately 160 km/hr. The corridor includes key stations such as New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Murad Nagar. Beyond the current Delhi-Meerut route, the infrastructure at Sarai Kale Khan has been designed with additional platforms to accommodate future expansions to Karnal in Haryana and Alwar in Rajasthan. This advanced transportation network aims to integrate the National Capital Region (NCR) more closely, effectively increasing its functional radius to nearly 100 kilometers. The project, inaugurated by the Prime Minister, reflects a significant leap in India's urban infrastructure, offering a faster alternative to existing rail services like the Vande Bharat for regional commuting.
