Allie & Zack's wedding day!

Allie and Zack tied the knot on December 1st at the Wythe Hotel—a historic Brooklyn factory turned boutique hotel. It was an intimate wedding ceremony (fewer than 80 guests) and I had the honor of officiating their wedding! More on that below and in a future video.

The day was full of amazing moments, and I am SO glad I grabbed my vlog camera last minute and was able to film a few scenes to share with you here. Seriously, I didn't even plan on bringing my camera...but just before I left home I realized that they didn't hire a formal videographer for the event, so I threw my camera into my bag just in case I wanted to record some clips. Those clips turned into this entire video :)

The video begins inside the Wythe Hotel's Penthouse Loft, where the bride and her family members got ready amongst sweeping Manhattan skyline views. Talk about a stunning backdrop. 😍

Once she was ready, it was time for the father-daughter first look. I’m so glad I got this moment on film with Allie and our dad.

After some bridal portraits were taken, Allie got to see the reception room. It was a dream filled with twinkly lights, greenery, and gorgeous flowers! As you can see, she absolutely loved it. I share some footage of the decorated space around the halfway mark of the video. If you’re looking for some inspiration for a small, intimate wedding, definitely use this room for inspo.

Then, it was time for the bride and groom’s first look. How precious are Allie and Zack? 🥺

Back in August, on our 31st birthday, my sister and Zack asked if I would be the officiant for their wedding and I, of course, said YES. It's such an honor to be asked to officiate a wedding for people you love so much. You can watch some of my previous vlogs to see how I prepared for this role, and I'm working on a longer video about how it went ;)
