A short portrait film from the project "THE BLOOD LINE" about Carey and Angela Dowson. Whilst on their honeymoon Carey suffered a Deep vein thrombosis attack , which started off as multiple blood clots in his legs, which then circulated into his lungs.
These one minute videos allow for an insight into the world of deep vein thrombosis, with the purpose to explain the different effects that a deep vein thrombosis can have every day.
This one minute film is representative of the time it takes for your blood to circulate around your body once. These one minute films comes in a series of 6 episodes to symbolise that every 6 minutes somebody dies because of a blood clot
This short film chapter is narrated by Carey Dowson, a survivor of his Deep vein thrombosis attack, 25 years ago. Carey talks about wearing his SOS medallion.
