Описание: On June 13, 1997, people were enjoying the 3 pm show of Border when a massive fire broke out at Uphaar Cinema in Delhi’s Green Park. Smoke entered the cinema hall and the theatre lost power. There was complete chaos. While the viewers seated in the lower floor were able to escape, people in the balcony were trapped. The capital of India witnessed one of its biggest catastrophes. A total of 59 people died of asphyxiation after being trapped in the hall.
