With so many holidaymakers keen on outdoor pursuits – golf, walking, birdwatching and so on – fishing is no exception. It’s no accident that most of our sites are in locations where one can revel in the great outdoors.

But serious fishermen tend to head for Blairgowrie, and HPB’s own 1½-mile double-bank and mid-stream fishing beat on the River Ericht – running with wild brown trout, salmon, sea trout and grilse.
At 60-odd miles the journey from Tigh Mor to Blairgowrie is not so arduous, and is well worth making if you simply fancy factoring a day or two’s fishing into your holiday. But if you want to fish, fish and fish some more, Witch’s Pool is the place: two fully furnished fishing lodges (plus bothy) on the riverbank, with all the comfort and amenities Bondholders expect, and just a short stroll from where the action is.

An initial payment from £5,000 and a quarterly fee of under £38 (that is around £150 a year), which can increase in line with but not exceed the Retail Price Index Excluding Mortgage Interest (RPIX), gives you access to all HPB’s holiday homes.
