Hey adventurers, welcome back to the channel! Today, we’re diving into the Mystic Class Mod for Baldur’s Gate 3. If you’re familiar with Dungeons & Dragons, you might’ve heard about the Mystic class from Unearthed Arcana—a psionics-based class that unlocks the power of the mind. It functions separately from traditional magic, focusing on inner strength to control the world around you. Mystics don’t need to chant, wave their hands, or use material components, making them immune to Silence effects and other magic-restricting conditions. They are versatile, able to read minds, turn invisible, and transform their bodies into living iron. Whether you want to play a stealthy mentalist or a powerful warrior, the Mystic offers limitless options for creative builds.

The class brings two core mechanics into play: Psionic Talents, which function like cantrips and scale with your level, and Psionic Disciplines, which are powerful abilities grouped by themes such as telekinesis, elemental mastery, or enhanced physical prowess. Instead of traditional spell slots, Mystics rely on Psi Points, a pool of energy used to fuel their abilities. Managing these Psi Points adds a unique layer of strategy to gameplay, especially since the class features a Psi Limit, capping how many points you can use per ability. As you level up, that limit increases, giving you access to even more powerful disciplines. The result is a class that excels at multiple roles, whether you want to tank with the Order of the Immortal, deal damage as a Soul Knife, or control the battlefield as an Avatar.

Now, let’s talk installation. Thanks to Patch 7, setting up the Mystic Class Mod is quick and easy. Launch Baldur’s Gate 3, head to the in-game mod manager, and search for 'Mystic Class.' Click install, and the mod will be ready to use. To unlock the Mystic’s full potential, I recommend installing the UnlockLevelCurve Mod alongside it, which raises the level cap to 20. This will allow you to access the Mystic’s most powerful abilities and fully explore what the class can do.

When arranging your load order, keep utility mods like ImprovedUI at the top, followed by UnlockLevelCurve, and place the Mystic mod after that. If you’re using optional add-ons such as the Mystic Gear Tutorial Chest, make sure they’re loaded right after the Mystic mod.

Once everything is installed, you’ll see the Mystic option available during character creation, or you can respec an existing character by visiting Withers. With these two mods in place, you’ll be able to reach level 20, unlocking incredible feats, high-tier disciplines, and abilities like psionic smites and elemental mastery.
