Putin "Listens To Commanders", US Responds To Threat, Ukraine Claims More Russian Withdrawals Soon

Russia claims it had prevented the delivery of foreign weapons to Ukraine as part of mass strikes on December 16. Ukraine says there are rumours that Kakhovka "will be abandoned by Russian troops by the end of this year". Russian job sites are reportedly advertising jobs for digging trench and fortification in occupied Ukrainian and nearby Russian regions.

Meanwhile, NATO Chief says Russia is readying for a protracted war and the outcome of the negotiations will depend “on the strength on the battlefield”. UK PM Sunak has ordered an assessment of the progress of the war and the significance of the British military contributions to Ukraine. Zelensky has admitted that he is being urged to negotiate with Moscow to end the war.
